What matters on this route
Yongsan is within Seoul but is a different station from Seoul Station. Route searches, taxi plans and departure buffers should all use Yongsan for the fare shown here. At the other end, Jeonju Station is not inside the hanok-village core, so the final local transfer remains outside this rail figure.
Rail arrival and the hanok visit are two separate journeys
The official Hanok Village directions distinguish Yongsan–Jeonju rail travel from the bus connection between Jeonju Station and the village area near Jeondong Catholic Church. Save both destinations before departure: Jeonju Station for the ticket and your exact accommodation or first stop for local navigation. A village landmark is not a station exit.
What changes if you sleep in Jeonju?
A day trip needs a return-to-station cutoff before the booked train. An overnight plan can leave the evening free, but adds a room night and moves the return rail journey to another date. Compare those actual dates in the pass calculator. Do not reuse a same-day example from this page for an overnight itinerary.
If your priority is the hanok area, choose a compact group of stops there and leave an optional stop for spare time. If your priority is a specific restaurant or activity outside that area, put its location into the plan first. A long list of Jeonju attractions does not establish that they fit between your two trains.
Tickets or a KORAIL Pass?
For a Jeonju out-and-back, compare both KTX legs with a pass only after their dates are fixed. If another Honam-line journey is planned, add that separately; the engine will prevent one requirement from being covered twice.
