Seoul to Jeonju: use Yongsan and calculate the real rail cost
The common planning mistake is the station: this verified KTX fare starts at Yongsan, not Seoul Station. Keep that station pair exact in searches and pass calculations.
Current verified KTX fare

|---|---|---|---|
| Age 13+ | ₩34,400 | ₩34,400 | ₩68,800 |

The figures above cover only standard-seat KTX tickets for this station pair. Train-specific availability, first-class upgrades, other train types and local transfers are separate. Confirm the timetable and final ticket price with the operator before purchase.
What matters on this route
Yongsan is within Seoul but is a different station from Seoul Station. Route searches, taxi plans and departure buffers should all use Yongsan for the fare shown here. At the other end, Jeonju Station is not inside the hanok-village core, so the final local transfer remains outside this rail figure.
This distinction matters to data quality as well as navigation: substituting a nearby station can select the wrong canonical fare and produce a false saving.
Tickets or a KORAIL Pass?
For a Jeonju out-and-back, compare both KTX legs with a pass only after their dates are fixed. If another Honam-line journey is planned, add that separately; the engine will prevent one requirement from being covered twice.

Method: exhaustive deterministic candidate comparison with one pass at most per traveler/group. All displayed scenarios have high or medium data confidence. Unused journeys are never added as savings.
A route page cannot decide a pass from one leg alone. The calculator prices every journey, every eligible product and every legal Select-pass date combination, then includes uncovered tickets exactly once.
Before you book

- Allow a separate Jeonju Station transfer budget.
- Record outbound and return dates independently.
- Do not add an unplanned journey merely to make a pass appear valuable.
