What counts as an eligible ride?
Count these as eligible:
- Seoul-licensed buses
- Subway journeys within the published Climate Card service range
Count these as excluded and pay for them separately:
- Airport and intercity buses
- Sinbundang Line
- Subway journeys outside the published service range

Enter a day-by-day plan, not an average
For example, enter three consecutive Seoul dates with two, four and two eligible journeys, respectively. These are sample inputs, not a recommended ride count. Enter a day with no transit as zero rather than moving its rides to another date. A pass covers a date window, so the distribution matters as well as the total.
Tick the existing-card option only if you already have the compatible reusable Climate Card. Owning a T-money card is not the same input. Repeat the calculation with fewer rides if much of your sightseeing may be on foot; a pass that wins only at an optimistic ride count is a fragile purchase.
Why this is an estimate
Official card base fare for a journey up to 10 km It does not calculate the exact fare for every station pair or transfer chain. Do not count each train boarded within one continuous transfer journey as a separate full base fare; that can overstate the pay-as-you-go cost.
Excluded rides remain separate costs; this form is not a fare quote for airport rail or intercity trains. Use the airport calculator for supported airport options. Before purchase, confirm your actual stations against the official coverage list above, not just whether the destination is described as “Seoul.”
